 The Mitchellville Funeral Home began as Carson Furniture and Undertaking at the turn of the century. New ownership in 1940 and seven years later, preceded Hamilton's purchase of the Moffitt Funeral Home in 1976. As the original location was limited to visitations only, a larger building was purchased and attractively designed to provide ample space for the entire funeral service and receptions.
