Holly Peterson Miller has been assisting client families with memorial and disposition details since January 2000. She is an Iowa licensed funeral director, and a third-generation owner/employee of Hamilton’s Funeral Home.
Holly has four step-children: Erin, Megan, Tristian, and Braylen; along with two grandchildren: Levi and Wyatt. She has a son, Alan who died in January of 2005 when he was 5 ½ months old. Inspired by Little Al’s courageous fight, and with the help of family and friends, Holly implemented a beautiful Children’s Garden at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway. This garden is reserved in memory of children who have died, and is planted with beautiful trees, plants and flowers all of which attract butterflies. Several times each year ceremonies are held in remembrance of those children.
Holly lives in Monroe, Iowa. She enjoys golf, traveling, and hanging out with her dogs Airman and Bequia. Her passion is helping other parents who have had their child die.
