COVID-19 Update

June 1, 2020

Governor Reynolds issued a new proclamation within the
State of Public Health Disaster Emergency

Hamilton’s Funeral Home's Current Policies:

  • Funeral, Memorial Services and Visitations will be limited to 50% capacity of our buildings. At Hamilton's Funeral Home on Lyon Street, Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens and Hamilton's on Westown Parkway will be limited to 75 people with proper social distancing. Hamilton's Altoona Funeral Home will be limited to 50 people with proper social distancing.
  • We are doing everything we can to keep our staff along with all who enter our buildings as safe as possible. Therefore, our service times will be limited to allow time for us to clean and disinfect before and after each event.
  • Services at churches will be at the discretion of each church's current policies.
  • Graveside services will adhere to individual cemetery policies.

Thank you for your kindness and patience through this difficult time.

Sincerely,
