| Hamilton's Living Tribute Program |
 In honor of those we serve, Hamilton's donates money to the Des Moines Botanical Center to purchase memorial plantings. Plantings are made in a specially selected four-acre site, the Oak-Hickory Forest area, within the Botanical Center's outdoor gardens. There is a beautiful Living Tribute display at the Botanical Center containing the names of those remembered, as well as a register book at each of Hamilton's Funeral Homes. Each spring on Arbor Day, Hamilton's, together with The Des Moines Botanical Center, holds a "Living Tribute Dedication"  at the site of the Oak-Hickory Forest in the Center's outdoor gardens. This brief dedication event is a chance for all to pause and reflect at this quiet place by the river. It is our hope that the continued development of the outdoor gardens will serve not only as a constant reminder of our community's rich and productive past, but more importantly, as a living tribute to your family's heritage.
