From: Mark Kline

God's blessings to you Dorothy and your family! Jay was a great example and encouragement throughout my 20s while at Cornerstone Community Church together. He put his trust in me at a young age with the missions team and that meant a lot! It was a great time of ministry together and it definitely helped prepare me for eldership. I also just loved listening to him pray. I always felt like he was speaking with heartfelt reverence to our God. A special man!! Absent from the body but present with the Lord!

Dear Dorothy, may our Lord grant you an extra measure of His comfort and peace in these days and weeks. You and Jay have our undying thanks for your years of service in the translation of the New Testament into Tai Dam. On behalf of many workers using that translation today to reach the Tai Dam, thank you! Phil and Susan Casey

From: Jim & Jody Dean

Dear Dorothy and family, Jody and I send our condolences to you and yours as the Lord has called Jay home. What an inspiration he was as he spent his life in the translation of the New Testament to the Tai Dam language. It has been a privilege of ours to know you and your family while you attended the Cresco Community Chapel. May the Lord give you peace and comfort during this difficult time. In His love, Jim and Jody

We have known Jay and his family for many years and also his work among the Tai Dam. We had many opportunities to be with Jay and consider him a godly servant of Jesus Christ. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, especially at this time.

My sympathies to you as you grieve Jay's passing. I met you many years ago when I first began my journey that included service with WBT and am thankful for your service for these years. May our Heavenly Father bring you much comfort in this time.
