Dave was actually my first boyfriend! As Mark Goble said, we were part of the Sayers
Park Gang growing up. I spent my best years hanging in that part with Dave, Mark,
and a bunch of neighborhood kids!!! I moved to Colorado and lost touch, but visited
my parents and stayed at their house by the park and thought of Dave a lot. I ran into
him at Target a few years back, and it was SO GREAT TO SEE HIM!!! He was such a nice person,
and I can't believe he is gone. Every time I go to Des Moines I had hoped to run into him
again. I am so sad to hear of his passing. God Bless Dave, and my condolences to his
family.

Family of David Kline:
Dave was such a nice person. I always enjoyed our conversations about the old neighborhood and how rich we were to have had so many great memories of our childhood. My heart is full of sadness for your loss.

You gotta love a guy that had a red mustang and played 8 track tapes, so many that the back seat was full of them. He loved his softball and golf and hats just to cover that little patch of bald, i think. Dave had a great laugh. He will be sorely missed.
My favorite story was when he volunteered to come over to my house to "help" me with my new son, two weeks old at the time, as my wife went out with the girls. My son cried all evening. Dave never volunteered again. Great trip to see Billy Joel, though. God bless, David Kline.
