Avis I. Graves, 77, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012, at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House.

Avis was born April 24, 1935, in Joice, Iowa, to Jens and Elizabeth Hagen. She worked as a Laboratory Technician at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

She is survived by her son, Todd & wife, Jane Graves; brother, Vernon Hagen; 2 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
