Marion D. Teater

Marion D. Teater, 85, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born November 5, 1926, in Des Moines, the youngest of 11 children to Roy and Margaret (Keenan) Davis.

Marion graduated from North High School in 1944, and married Kenneth Teater December 7, 1944. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and bowling.

Marion is survived by her husband, Kenneth; daughters, Cheryl (Pete) Noyes, Susan (Tony) Law, and Linda (Sam) Leo; ten grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines. The family will greet friends Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to The Gardens at Luther Park, 2910 E. 16th Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50316, in loving memory of Marion.
