Patricia Slaybaugh

Patricia Kay Slaybaugh, 65, passed away at Taylor House Hospice on Wednesday, May 2, 2012.

Patricia was born April 26, 1947 in Newton, Iowa to Lola and Thaddeus Orman. She worked as a dietary aide at Lutheran Hospital where she met the love of her life, Terry Slaybaugh. She enjoyed animals, playing BINGO, her doll collection and her two dogs.

Patricia is survived by her mother, Lola Orman; her sisters, Sandra Briggs and JoAnn Withem; six nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by Terry, her husband of 30 years. Also predeceased by her father, Ted Orman; sister, Norma Maples; and two nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League in loving memory of Patricia.
