James R. Bolejack

James R. Bolejack, 71, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. He was born April 1, 1941, in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of Marvin and Mary (Maynard) Bolejack.

James worked for Polk County as a Civil Engineer for 29 years until retiring in 2001. He was a member of Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and Elks Club.

James is survived by his wife, Julie Bolejack; son, Kyle Bolejack of Plano, TX; his daughter, Tricia Hansen of Hudson, IA; and five grandchildren, Morgan, Madeline, Brady, Mollie, and Abigail. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 7, 2012, at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church, 510 E. 1st Street, Ankeny, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday, May 6, at the church.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Iowa Diabetes Association or Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Church in loving memory of James.
