Deloris Hope Norman

Deloris Hope Norman, 78, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center. A memorial visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.

Deloris was born August 20, 1933, in Sioux City, IA, to Quay and Melissa Jones. She was an employee for the Housing Code Department for the city of Des Moines.

Deloris is survived by her husband, Jerry; daughters, Francie (Jim) Marin and Michelle (Mark) Hoopes; son, Steve (Joni) Norman; grandchildren, JoDee (Matt) Blair, Nick Leto, Jana (Mark) Chittenden, Tim (Dana) Norman, Nicole Hoopes, and Alan Hoopes; great-grandchildren, Christina Leto, Jamie Perez, Rachel Blair, Dakota Leto, Jordyn Norman, and Jaxson Leto; and great-great-grandchildren, Halen Brumm and Cady Perez. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Craig Norman; grandson, Jamie Marin; great-grandson, T.J. Leto; and sister, Dorothy (Bud) Carlberg.
