Virginia Kendrick

Virginia Kendrick, 78, died peacefully at her home Thursday, May 31, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, June 4, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Virginia was born March 17, 1934, to Lucille and David Rice. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Virginia is survived by her children, Ginger (Doug) Avey, James Kendrick, Jesse (Barb) Kendrick, Billy (Joann) Kendrick, and LaDown (Ross) Besaw; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Sue (Raymond) Palmer, Butch (Cynthia) Rice, and Dorothy (Marty) Elrod. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Debbie; her grandson, David; her daughter-in-law, Tammy; her brother Kenneth, and her sister Delores (Gerald).
