Phyllis "Minnie" Nicolino

Filomena Phyllis “Minnie” Sposato Nicolino, 89, passed away peacefully, December 9, 2012, with her loving husband John and family by her side at the Taylor House Hospice.
Phyllis was born September 30, 1923.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, John; children, Joseph (Shirley) Nicolino, Rosina (Alan) Jones, John P. (Janet) Nicolino, Mary Anne (Raymond) Waddell, Vincent (Carrie) Nicolino, and Catherine (Dirk) Newton; grandchildren, Emily Newton, Bailee Newton, Meisha Nicolino, Nicole Nicolino Fike, Raychel Waddell, Ashlee Waddell, Kristina Nicolino, Traci Nicolino Koesis, Randi Lynn Reints, Jason Nicolino, James Hanlon, Timothy Hanlon, Chad Nicolino, Phillip Nicolino, Nathan Nicolino, Daniel Hanlon, Stephen Hanlon, Evan Waddell, Brandon Newton, Matthew Halverson, Ryan Halverson, Cody Reints; and twenty-plus great-grandchildren.
Visitation will occur Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 4 – 8 p.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, with a 6:30 p.m. Rosaary. Funeral mass will be held 10 a.m., Friday, December 14, 2012, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 15 Indianola Avenue in Des Moines. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery.

Our love to Uncle John and everyone who will be gathered together to celebrate the life of our dear Aunt Minnie! She was so precious and dear to her family near and far. She was always in the hearts of Mario and Felicia! Hugs and kisses go with her and to everyone there.
