Jack, I am SO SORRY for your loss and can certainly identify with such an early death of a spouse. ALthough I didn't know Essie personally, she sounds like a wonderful, loving person. I so appreciated the years we worked together in DM schools, and you certainly excelled as a teacher at Grubb Y - those kids thrived with you as their teacher. The time ahead of you will not be easy, and there were no words that helped me after Steve died - only having people there for me in whatever form. FInd comfort in your memories, in friends, family, and pets, and you will find your way to a life ahead. You will certainly be in our thoughts and prayers.

I never met Essie, but through An Angels Destiny she helped me when I lost three of my dogs, she reached out to me like she had known me forever, its been a few years now and I still go back now and then to read the emails she sent because they were so touching and heartfelt. She must have been someone very special to have such an impact on a complete stranger. So sorry for your familys tremendous loss!

Jack and Debbie, I am in shock at the news of Essie's passing. She was a totally giving spirit, upbeat with untiring love. Her beauty shined through her love of animals, and she gave many people encouragement when they were in need. Today, those people are giving back with their writings here. What a great tribute.
Good-bye Essie, Keep watch over those you left behind and embrace those you will find again, waiting for you.
Love, Sandy
