Sharon Scully, 70, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. She was born December 1, 1942 in Des Moines to Howard and Dorothy (Maize) Hobbs.
Sharon is survived by her daughter, Tammy Brower; son, Doug Brower, Jr.; brothers, Leroy Hobbs, Robert Hobbs and Mark Bothwell; sister, Linda Chandler; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; other loving relatives and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Hobbs and Dorothy Bothwell; son, Terry Dunsmore; and grandson, James Brian Harryman, Jr.
A Memorial Benefit will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the American Legion Hispanic Hall, 1511 South Union Street in Des Moines.
