Mildred "Millie" Buckley

Mildred “Millie” Kolleen Buckley, 80, passed away Monday, April 7, 2014 at University Park Nursing and Rehab.

Millie was born February 23, 1934 in Des Moines, Iowa to Thomas and Juanita (Lippy) Kennedy. She was a very intelligent woman who worked hard to support her family. She loved reading, crocheting, and working crossword puzzles. She was a talented gardener and enjoyed growing vegetables and flowers.

Millie is survived by her sons, John Paul Buckley of Des Moines, William Robert Buckley of Des Moines, and Edward Anthony Buckley of New York, NY; and her brother, William Kennedy of New York, NY.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tom Kennedy and sister, Patricia Kennedy.
