Yolanda Lopez

Yolanda Lopez was born August 20, 1961 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Amalio Rocha and Felipa Suarez. She passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the age of 52.

She is survived by her children: Angelica, Consuelo, Yolanda, Alejandra, Jose, Cecilia, and Maximino Lopez Jr. and Jorge and Samuel Jacobo; seventeen grandchildren; mother, Felipa Suarez; siblings: Noel, Martha, Lazaro, Antonia, Sofia, Adan, Amalio, and Maria Guadalupe; as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maximino Sr.; father, Amalio; and brother, Salvador.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Our Lady of the Americas Visitation Catholic Church, 1271 East 9th Street, with burial to follow at Glendale Cemetery.
