Juan Flores

Juan “John” Flores, 78, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born July 23, 1935 in Harlingen, Texas the son of Leopoldo and Juanita Garcia Flores.

Juan was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; a sister and a brother. He is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Juan (Karen), Angie, Julie and Juanita (Martin); step-children, Darrell, Tony (Jr.) Teresa, Dixie (Bruce), Pat, Becky (Brad), Brenda (Rob) and Rocky (Pam); brother, Fred (Lupe); aunt, Isabel “Mom Chavela”; grandchildren, Juan (Stefani), Jessica (Matt), Nick, Marissa (Tommy), Macie, Tina, Missy (Joe), Dan (Wendy), Todd (Meredyth), Michelle, Tim, April (Eric), Stephanie (Brad), Samantha (Michael), Tori, Tyler, Will, Wyatt, and Derek; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Alexi, Cameron, Peighton, Emma, Niesa, Ethan and Dominic; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2014 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street followed by burial at Iowa Veterans Cemetery at 2 p.m.
