I am one of Matt's neighbors. I did not personally know Matt well, but had started to get to know Shelly. We always watched Matt and his friends and we (my family and other neighbors) were always humbled by how many friends (very loyal friends) Matt has. Not one of us would have so many come to grieve us, support us, laugh with us or share life with us. Matt must have been a tremendous person. We share in your loss and send our prayers and shared heart ache. Its a true loss to have one so young and lovely taken so soon. Please know that you can count on us over the coming months and years for support and a shoulder when needed.

To Sidney and Family, I know it's been years since we have seen each other but my prayers are with you at this time. I haven't lived in Iowa for over 30yrs but think about the people from Park Avenue often, I hope God eases your pain and the memory of your loved one carries on.

You will be missed, Matt, by your family and so many friends. My heart breaks to think of little McKenna growing up without her Daddy there to be part of her life. We will see you every time we look into her sweet little face. Fly with the angels, my nephew.
