Janice was one of my childhood friends and a neighbor on South Helen Street in Sioux City. I have many fond memories of her and her family as they included me often with their activities. As I live south of Des Moines, I hoped our paths would cross sometime but they never did. I'm sure she will be greatly missed.

So very sorry to read of Janice's death. She was one of my high school teachers when I attended Ayrshire Cons. School in Ayrshire, Iowa (graduated in 1969). I always liked her and often wondered what happened to her. (Recognized her picture as fast as I recognized her name! She didn't change much at all!!) Glad to know she had a family, but am saddened to know she was in Des Moines, as I have lived in West Des Moines the past 27 years and would have loved to reconnect with her! Sincere sympathy to her family.

Jan was an amazing woman with tremendous wit, a gifted work ethic, and a very good friend. It was an absolute pleasure knowing her from the first time we met, and I will miss her very much. She was too young, too gentle, too loving to have passed so soon.
