Gerald John Lisowski, 73, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014 at his home in Des Moines.
Gerald was born June 10, 1941 in Antigo, WI, the son of John and Erma (Stone) Lisowski. He was a volunteer firefighter in Urbandale for many years. He is survived by his wife, Grace; children, Derik Lisowski, John Olson, Ron Olson, Jim Shaffer, Dawn Hall, Tania Mongar, and Rick Conn; thirteen grandchildren; and sister, Dianna (Don) Jellerson.
According to Gerald’s wishes, cremation has occurred and there will be no services held at this time.

I'm so sorry for your loss .Jerry touched the whole Tyler families Heart .He became a brother to my dad and uncles and an uncle to me .He wasn't feeling good himself , but he pulled himself together and came to hospice to see dad ..he was at all of grandma hospitalizations and also visited at hospice .we will miss you uncle Jerry .your memory will live forever in our hearts and minds Extra Prayers to Grace sending love hugs and prayers for his beautiful loving Wife Grace and his children
