I enjoyed working with Betty Lou for her final eight years at Meredith. She was a delight.
When chatting with my husband over thirty years ago, Betty Lou paid me a lovely compliment. Tim still reminds me of that and it always makes me smile.
Here's to a special person in Meredith history.

Betty won the hearts of all of us at AIB College of Business. Members of our baseball team who visited Scottish Rite Park regularly adored her. We are saddened by her death and offer our condolences to her family and friends.

I read with sadness of Betty Lou's passing this morning. I am out of town and getting the Register on line. She leaves the Wiesner family with oh so many happy memories! There were trips and parties and fabulous recipes (black bean soup!) and stories to tell over and over! She had a wonderful, infectious laugh which I "hear" every time I think of her! My sympathy to you Kim and Rex and your family. Please know I would be with you at the August memorial service if I were in town.
My thoughts and prayers will be with you! Sincerely, Malinda Wiesner
