Barbara Hill

Barbara A. Hill, 71, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.

Barbara was born May 29, 1943 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Evelyn Cross. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Barbara enjoyed shopping, Prairie Meadows, and going to shows.

She is survived by her husband, Gene; children, Richard, Tim, and Jeananne; grandchildren, Daniella, Dustin, Kaylie, Ariana, and Jose; mother, Evelyn Butler; and brothers, Steve and Jim Cross.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Harold; daughter, Angel; and brother, Jack Cross.

Family will begin greeting friends at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, with funeral service to begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
