Nadine Hankins

Nadine L. Hankins passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Arbor Springs, West Des Moines. Nadine was born December 22, 1924, and raised in Lowell, Arkansas.

She moved to Des Moines in 1977 and worked at the Social Security Administration and Office of Hearings and Appeals before retiring. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, gardening, and traveling overseas in her retirement.

Nadine is survived by her children, Mitchell (Billie Sue) Hankins, Pam (Glenn) Goodwin, and Dueana (Bud) Johnson; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Gospel Assembly Church, 7135 Meredith Drive, Urbandale, IA. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at the church.

Burial and graveside services will be at Benton County Memorial Park, Rogers, Arkansas, Monday, August 18th at 11:00 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Assembly Church in loving memory of Nadine.
