Helen R. Rivas

Helen Rosalie Rivas, 94, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014.

Helen was born November 18, 1919 in Des Moines, Iowa and is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Rivas.

Helen is survived by her daughters, Rita Rivas (Jim Severino) and Cathy (Gary) Logan; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Family will begin greeting friends at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2014, with funeral service scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m., at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery.
