Charlene Lynn Gibbens, age 59 died August 20th, 2014 in a single car accident in Poweshiek County. Char loved to be helpful to others, butterfly's, and anything purple. She has touched many lives through her big heart, and generous spirit.
Charlene is preceded in death by her husband Merle Reagen and parents Charles Junior and Violent Elinora Gibbons. She leaves behind her brother Dale Junior and son Dale Dewayne Gibbons. She will be greatly missed by family and friends that were like family. May she rest in peace.

I am so sorry for your loss! Our hearts and prayers are with you. my family The Shannon's also lived on 52nd st growing up. Lots of fond memories we have as kids. we were one big family out there.

I am so sorry for your loss. Charlene lived next door to my family on N.E. 52nd Ct for years as we were all growing up. The Gibbens Family were all wonderful people. God Bless and you are in our prayers.

I am so very sorry for your loss! My thoughts and sympathy are with you. We had many great times growing up in our neighborhood. Many wonderful parents and kids, and Charlene was one of those wonderful kids.
