Cynthia Ruth (Reynolds) Moore, 57, died Monday, August 25, 2014. Visitation will be held at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines on Thursday, August 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3615 University Ave., Des Moines, IA followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery.
Cindy was born in Des Moines on January 27, 1957 to Robert and Josephine Reynolds. She graduated from Hoover High School in 1975 and worked over 30 years for both Progressive Insurance and UPS in Des Moines. Her life centered around her children and grandchildren; she was a devoted mother and grandmother. Cindy was a long-time resident of Beaverdale, a cat lover, an avid walker and shopper. With her generous spirit, she enjoyed buying gifts for those she loved.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Cheri (Larry) Hunt and Amy Reynolds; grandchildren, Nevaeh and Raegen Hunt, and DiAnté and Keondrae Squire; siblings, Randal (Ann) Reynolds, Renee (David) Kiel, and Rob (Rhonda) Reynolds; seven nephews and one niece. Cindy was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine (Wilson) Reynolds and father, Robert Dean Reynolds
