Arthur Robert Bean

Arthur Robert Bean, 64, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 at University Park Care Center in Des Moines.

Arthur was born November 5, 1949 in Minot, North Dakota, the son of Clarence and Irene Bean. He loved his grandchildren and family more than anything. He enjoyed Elvis and was a Vikings fan, but enjoyed all types of sports. He worked at Younkers for 21 years and was last employed as a chef for HyVee Hall.

Arthur is survived by his sons, Robert Edington-Bean and Gary (Anna) Bean; grandsons, Elijah and Dalton; mother of his children, Nora Hutcheson; siblings, Eddie, Gloria, Orville, Mary, Betty and Linda; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 2254 E Jefferson in Des Moines.
