Tracy Lynn Petty-Conley

Tracy Lynn Petty-Conley was born August 15, 1954 in Des Moines, Iowa to Carol Sue Hardenbrook and Dwight Edsel McClaskey. She attended East High School and was the owner of the J & R Lounge and Chris’s Tap. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and cooking. Tracy loved the Iowa State Fair where she was a concessionaire at her mom and dad’s stand. Tracy passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 27, 2014 at her home in West Des Moines.
Tracy is survived by her children, Tina Gomez-Fox, Kara Petty, Amber Petty and Eric Petty; grandchildren, Taylor, Kennedy, Caleb, Idalias, Ambraysiah and Omarion; great-grandson, Cayden; and beloved dog, Maddie. She is also survived by her sisters, Ronda (Brian) Kent and Kimberly (Rusty) Baker; brother, Rodrick McBlain, Jr.; as well as Robert Gomez, Bruce Petty and Alan Conley; and many other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol “Sue” McBlain; fathers, Dwight “Duke” McClaskey and Rodrick McBlain; grandmother, Vernon Shoup; and nephew, Skylar Randall Baker.

Services will be held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines on Friday, October 10, 2014. Family will begin greeting friends at 12:30 p.m. with a memorial service scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
