Jerold McBee

Jerold McBee, 74, died Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.

He enjoyed stamp and coin collecting. He was called Mr. Encyclopedia by his family because of his ability to discuss any topic.

Jerold was a graduate of Saydel High School, he attended Northwest Missouri State University.

Jerold is survived by his brothers; Steve (Judy) McBee, Merv McBee and Loy (Bonnie) McBee, sister; Ronna (Kirk) Behanish; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Margie McBee, and his brother, Jim McBee.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, October 27, 2014, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Avenue in Des Moines.
