Helen Baysinger

Helen Sandra Baysinger, 71, passed away at her home Tuesday, October 14, 2014. She was born December 21, 1942 in Des Moines, Iowa to Marion and Helen Steffen Baker. Helen was a kind and giving person. She often contributed to charitable organizations and was a Sunday School teacher for Berean Assembly of God Church, where she was a member. She enjoyed gardening and her rose bushes. Her faith and her family were most important to her.

Helen is survived by her husband, Arthur “Art” Baysinger; children, Tracey, Stacey, and Artie Baysinger; granddaughters, Brittany and Mercedes Baysinger; siblings, Dixie Osborn, Barb Robinson, and Mike Baker; and a host of other extended family and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Janet Bennett.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Monday, October 20, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 19 at the funeral home.
