Anna “Marie” DeBolt passed away on October 19, 2014 at the Carlisle Care Center. She was born October 28, 1919 in Des Moines to Anthony and Angeline Lemmo.
Marie was a lifelong Southsider, embracing her Italian heritage. She loved to cook for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tony DeBolt; daughter, Peggy Nelson; sister, Frances Davis; and brothers, Sam and Nick Lemmo. Marie is survived by her son, David Lee (Jacque) DeBolt; daughter-in-law, Kathy Jones; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will be holding a celebration of life gathering at a later date.

David - I am so, so sorry to hear that Marie is gone. She was always very kind to me and I really missed her when I was no longer a part of the circle. I know this is a tough time for you. It's particularly difficult when you suddenly realize you're pretty much the only one left out of a family that was once so very lively and loving. John and I both send our condolences and will be thinking of you.
