Warren Dale Hartman, Sr.

Warren Dale Hartman, Sr. passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Fountain West Care Center in West Des Moines. Warren was born on February 18, 1937 in Jackson, MN. To Fred and Violet (Maltzen) Hartman, II.

Warren moved to Des Moines in 1951. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 – 1958. He was a long time member of First Federated Church.

Warren is survived by his sons, Warren Hartman, Jr. of Tampa, Fl., Randy Hartman of Tampa, FL. and Thad Hartman of Chantilly, VA.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Fred Hartman, III of Maumee, OH.; sister, Kay Hurd of Urbandale, IA.; and other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Sunny.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at Iowa Veteran’s Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa.
