Alfred Verne Scobba

Alfred Scobba, 72, passed away Friday, November 14, 2014. He was born June 28, 1942 to Verne and Anna Scobba in Algona, Iowa.

Alfred worked for Nelson Development in Des Moines for many years. He was an avid Cardinals, Vikings and Hawkeyes fan. Alfred enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Scobba; sons, Monte and Lance Scobba; stepchildren, Robert, Brenda and Kimberley Harvey; five grandchildren; brother, Charles; and former wife, Judy Scobba.

Services will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation two hours prior at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
