Sue "Sudie" Ann Meier

Sue Ann Meier, 67, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014, at The Comfort House in Pella, Iowa. She was born on January 27, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa to Ernest McCullough and Gertrude Purdy.

Sudie was a true child of the 60’s, living life to its fullest. As a free spirit she was always looking for a new adventure, new friends and spending time with those she loved.

Sudie is survived by her son, Jorden Meier of Seattle, Washington; Cabit and Coo Coo; her sister, Jane (Donnie) Cooper of Knoxville, Iowa; sister-in-law, Lorinda McCullough of Des Moines, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Thomas McCullough; and her life partner, Rick Sholz.

A celebration of Sudie’s life will be held on Sunday, November 16 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines.
