So sorry to heart of Kris's passing. Beautiful woman on the inside and out. Always had a big crush on her along with my 3 other brothers; but they wouldn't admit it. Her memories will live on through all of us....

I am shocked to hear of Kristy's passing. She was a special 1972 BFHS grad. We as a class (of 23) knew everyone very well. Kristy was always high energy. May God bless her Farrar family. VV

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Kris - especially to Cathy who was an ever present advocate and loving caregiver to Kris.
We did not know Kris well but she seemed to be a very spirited lady who was determined to live her life as fully as possible. We can all learn a lesson from her!!
May she rest in peace and her family surround themselves with happy memories of her.

My memories of Kris are connected to elementary school days in Farrar, junior high in Bondurant and finally college at ISU. Kris had a wonderful combination of beauty and brains but most of all I remember her warmth and ever present smile. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Our condolences go out to Kristy's family. She was a great presence at ISU, starting just as I was finishing. When she walked into her parent's home for a huge Kimberley Thanksgiving dinner her face lit up the room, always a big smile!

Kris (Kristy back in the day) and I were good friends in jr. high and high school. She was always happy and upbeat and was certainly one of the prettiest girls in school. At one point, we decided to try dating, but on the first date we had a flat tire and missed our movie and dinner reservations. We mutually decided to go back to being just good friends. I haven't seen Kris in many years but am extremely sorry about her passing.

I have so many memories of Kris from our college/sorority days at Iowa State. She dated a friend of mine for awhile so we spent many evenings together. We also took a trip to Hawaii together and spent three weeks with her sister on Hickam Air Force base. I will always remember her unique voice and laughter, as well as her beautiful smile.
My thoughts and love are with all of you who knew her best.

Kris was in my pledge class in our sorority at Iowa State. We spent many hours discussing our futures, our classes, and having fun together. We all admired Kris' beauty, brains, and commitment to her strong values. A special memory is a pledge weekend that we spent at Kris's rural home. While I only had the opportunity to visit Kris in California one time, she gave me a warm welcome. Kris was a great "sister" and a special woman. I send my condolences to all of her family.
