Joleen Sue Reinier

Joleen “Jo” Sue Reinier, 52, of Des Moines passed away at her home on Friday, December 12, 2014. Jo was born on July 29, 1962. She worked for Child Support Recovery for more than 20 years and prior to that served her country in both the United States Marine Corps and the Iowa Army National Guard. She was an avid reader who also loved the Little League World Series, March Madness and SyFy movies, of course. However, most importantly, she was a truly wonderful, beautiful and devoted mother and loving sister.

She is survived by her son Kristian Orr, his wife Angelia and granddaughters Jocelyn and Gwendolyn. Jo is also survived by sisters Jamie Armstrong (Guy) and Misty Coenen (Justin), brother Michael McCauley and her many nieces, nephews and her beloved Shelby.

Joleen was preceded in death by her father Roger McCauley, mother Aimee Irwin and her beloved dog of many years, Boston.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 19, also at the funeral home.
