We met Mark and Karen in the late '80's when they vacationed at our resort in Arkansas. We hit it off and became fast friends. They purchased a vacation home here in Arkansas, and our friendship continued. We had made plans to visit with them in August and take in Iowa's famous State Fair. But by that time, Mark was not able to attend, so we postponed it to 2015. Mark was a guy that was interested in everything. He was a people watcher, and kept up with current events. We always enjoyed seeing him again and catching up. We will be at the 2015 State Fair with Karen and we will have Mark in our thoughts. Our condolences to you, Karen. You were so dedicated to Mark throughout his battle with Cancer. With love to you during this sad and difficult time.
