Marilyn Pieart

Marilyn P. Pieart passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston with her loving family beside her. Marilyn was born (the seventh out of ten children) on July 6, 1926 to Lora (Kennedy) and Ezra Cole Pender in Altoona, Iowa.
She retired in 1996 after many years of dedicated service as a sales auditor for Younkers. Marilyn was a long time member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Warming; sons, Rollin “Skip” (Connie) and Henry; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 53 years, Rollin H. Pieart; son in-law, Richard Warming; daughter in-law, Linda Pieart and her all siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 29, 2014 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 600 6th Avenue in Des Moines. Burial will follow the service at Resthaven Cemetery. Family will greet visitors an hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Mercy Hospice in Johnston or St. John’s Lutheran Church.

So sorry to hear the passing of Marilyn as she was a very nice lady, and enjoyed working many years with her. She is at peace now with Rollin and they are looking threw the holes of heaven looking down on us. She is free now and remember all the good times we all had.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of marilyn. She is one of the nicest ladies i knew at calvin, she would smile and take my hand. She will be greatly missed.
