Patricia Hardman

Patricia L. Hardman, 78, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, February 2, 2015 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street followed by burial at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home.

Patricia was born June 29, 1936 in Des Moines to Charles and Pauline (Fletcher) Herron. She was a lifetime resident of Des Moines’s Southside.

Patricia is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Henry) Carpenter, Carol Metheny (Marty Miller), Debbie Venosky, Kathy (Mike) Enos and Vicki Hardman; sister, Sandy Dewey; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Hardman; and grandchildren, Eric Jones and Tim Schwartz.
