Nohla Sue Ivie Rivas was born August 6, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines to Paradise Ivie and Ivan Rivas. She was a strong little girl and fought her whole life, but on February 19, 2015 at 6:24 p.m. she was called home to Heaven. Although her time on this earth was brief, she made big imprints on the hearts of many.

She will be forever missed by her daddy and mommy; her twin sister, Renesmee Ivie Rivas; grandparents, Ronald Jaimec, Christina Leanos, Rick Ivie, Lenor Ivie, Mary Ivie; aunts, Shannan Lewis, Crystal Manriquez and Cristian Rivas; and uncles, Jesse Carter, and Ricardo Manriquez.

She will be held in Heaven by her great-grandma, Linda Sue Ivie; and great-grandpas, Melvin Ivie and Carl Lami.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. prior to services.
