Stephen Earl Lohmann

Stephen Lohmann, 65, passed away March 1, 2015. He graciously donated his body to Des Moines University for research. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Community of Christ Church, 4504 Ashworth Rd in West Des Moines, IA. Family will greet friends following the service. Steve’s final resting place will be at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, IA.

Steve was born July 23, 1949 to Herb and Dolores Lohmann in Burlington, Iowa. He graduated from Valley High School in 1968 and served in the US Army. Steve was a lifetime member of Community of Christ Church.

He is survived by his parents; and siblings, Sheila (Kenny) Brown of Des Moines, IA, Linda (David) Klein of Russellville, AR, Michael (Rhonda) Lohmann of Diagonal, IA; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
