Met Laurynda on the day I was called by Home Depot in response to an online job application. She was wearing some type of button on her apron referring to the LORD, so I asked her, "They let you wear that here?"
And we found out we both loved the LORD that day.
Once I was praying for her when we had a slow moment. I think she had told me she had a cold or something. I was quite a distance away. She turned and looked at me and sometime later told me she could feel me praying from clear over there.
One day I perceived there was a danger in the store threatening death. Through four prayer warriors we defeated that threat, and Laurynda was the one who prayed concerning specifics, and the LORD's angels took care of the situation.
We were Christian friends at work always.
I am sad for the family to lose one so dedicated to them and the LORD.

I met Laurie through our mutual friend, Lucky. I was 15, and they were 13. I always called her "Decker", her maiden name. When I think of the times that I spent with her, a little smile comes to my face. I can describe all of those time in many words. Fun, silly, interesting, crazy, laughable, respectful, and compassionate. I could go on. She was always there for me. Laurie supported me through whatever life was throwing at me, as I did her. We were friends, but more like siblings. We could talk about anything. Nothing was off the table. Her kindness and witty sarcasm was contagious! We had so much fun laughing at the zaniest things! My heart goes out to her children and anyone who knew her. She will be missed by all of those that her heart touched. I will never forget Decker. She was a comedic force to be reckoned with! I know that she is in a better place. I'm sure she got a warm welcome. Peace

I did not know your Laurynda personally but wanted Mikayla to know that Brad and Lori's Aunt is thinking of her and her family at this time. May your faith in God lift up your heart in this most grievous time.

I don't even know where to start, she had an amazing heart, and wasn't afraid to be herself and love others. She was definitely a mother to me and others I would imagine. See you on the other side Laurynda!

Laurynda (Laurie) was a special lady. I'm a better person for having her in my life, & I'm very gracious for that. Laurynda was a kind, respectful, loving woman and she cared for the people she loved. A good friend to have indeed. I hope you have found sanctity Laurie, and your sweet spirit soars on. Much Love.
