Eva Holly Gurwell, infant daughter of Maddyson Herselius and Dylan Gurwell, was born December 28, 2014. She was surrounded by her loving family when she earned her angel wings on March 4, 2015, under hospice care at ChildServe in Johnston, IA.
In addition to her mommy and daddy, Eva is survived by grandparents, Geoff (Carol) Herselius, Susie Herselius, Tom (Cindy) Gurwell, and Anita Gurwell; her aunt, Macy Herselius; uncles, Will Herselius, Mark Gurwell, Mike Gurwell, and Tommy Gurwell; great-grandparents, Ted (Dawn) Herselius, Lany Herselius, Cathy (Bob) Seymour, Bill (Lisa) Wielend, Dale (Carol) Gurwell, Kaye (Larry) Smith, Tom Cumming, and Beverly Khodai; and her great great-grandmas, Beverly Jones, Rany Wielend, and Velva Destival.
The family will receive visitors from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2015, at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW in Altoona.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in memory of Eva.

Maddyson, it may seem that you and Dylan had so very litte time with Eva but in that time frame you had given her so much love and warmth that one could give. You have taught us all a valuable lesson in life that even tho issues were there, the amount of love over shadowed all. God Bless you Maddy and Dylan.

Eva has been prayed for and watched over by so many. We rejoice in her homecoming to Jesus and know that she will take the love given her on this earth by so many and share it with her heavenly Father. Know that she lives eternally in God's heaven and you will see her again. My prayers have been and will be with you always as you grieve her leaving your loving arms.
