Ace Alexander Williams, age 7, son of Mike and Murt Williams, passed away peacefully the evening of Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at ChildServe in Johnston, Iowa where he lived after suffering a severe brain trauma as an infant. Ace was very fortunate to have a warm loving environment to live. His caregivers were an amazing group of people, truly dedicated to children with severe disabilities.

ChildServe kept Ace very active with in-house parties, movies with his buddies, swimming, crafts, outings to the Iowa State Fair, Civic Center, Blank Park Zoo, parades and 2nd grade activities with his class. On Iowa State Cyclone game days, Ace was able to watch the games with one of his caregivers that made special trips to ChidServe to view the games with Ace.

When we meet Ace “Alexander” again, he will be sporting an ISU #52 jersey. He’ll be running, jumping and playing ball with his old friends from ChildServe and his new found friends in heaven.

Ace is also survived by siblings, twins Joe and Jamie Williams of Pleasant Hill, Kelsey Williams of Humboldt and Kasey Williams of Des Moines; grandma, Doris Williams of Medora; and nephew, Bailey Williams of Pleasant Hill.

Ace’s memorial will be located at Mike and Murt’s Lake Thunderhead home in Unionville, MO. No services are planned.
