Roberto Torres Lopez, 55, was born September 20, 1959 in Aguascalientes, Mexico, the son of Roberto Torres D. and Maria M. Lopez. Roberto was a wonderful father and grandfather. He worked as a commercial electrician while living in Mexico before coming to the United States. He was a very happy and loving person. He loved to go out and socialize. He enjoyed dancing and was always smiling and joking around.
Roberto passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at his home in Clive, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with funeral mass beginning at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Our Lady of the Americas Visitation Catholic Church, 1271 E 9th St, Des Moines.
Roberto is survived by his wife, Ana M. Almanza; son, Roberto Torres; grandchildren, Roberto and Mia Torres; father, Roberto Torres D.; brother, Luis G. Torres; and sisters, Maricela, Patricia and Maria Torres. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria M. Lopez and his son, Cesar I. Torres.

Roberto Torres López, de 55 años, nació 20 de septiembre 1959 en Aguascalientes, México, hijo de Roberto Torres D. y Maria M. López. Roberto era un padre maravilloso y abuelo. Trabajó como electricista comercial mientras vivía en México antes de venir a los Estados Unidos. Él era una persona muy alegre y cariñosa. Le encantaba salir y socializar. Disfrutó de baile y siempre estaba sonriendo y bromeando.
Roberto falleció Jueves, 26 de marzo 2015 en su casa de Clive, Iowa. El velorio será el 10 a.m.-12:00p.m., con el funeral comienzo masa a las 12:00 pm, Martes, 31 de marzo 2015 en Nuestra Señora de la Iglesia Católica Américas Visitación, 1271 E 9th St, Des Moines.
Roberto le sobreviven su esposa, Ana M. Almanza; hijo, Roberto Torres; nietos, Roberto y Mia Torres; padre, Roberto Torres D.; hermano, Luis G. Torres; y hermanas, Maricela, Patricia y María Torres. Le precedieron en la muerte su madre, María M. López y su hijo, César I. Torres.
