To Brian, Clark, Lori, and the entire Nelson family:
My deepest condolences for the loss of Roland. I first met him in 1972 when he became my New York Life agent after I moved here from Rhode Island. We did a lot of insurance business over the years. I also used to see him at Prairie Meadows from time to time. He always did his best to come and see me if I was playing a band gig somewhere. He was very supportive.
I am saddened at losing my friend Roland. I will never forget his infectious sense of humor and laugh.

Roland was in my First office I was a manager in with New York Life. Over the few years were there we had a close friendship.. I can still remember at noon going over to the YMCA with him to Sweat. He would visit us when we lived in Mpls and now Rapid City and we would talk on the Phone about his Bike treks.
May the WIND be a your BACK ..my friend..

So sorry to get this sad News. I can remember when Roland was born and I had to ride in the bed of his folks pickup, going to Mary and Andrews farm, as there was not room for all of us in the front seat.
Enjoyed having Roland and his friends stay with me when they came through on RAGBi.
Was very Honored that he wanted to stay with me.
Thoughts and Prayers are with all.
