Tina Goforth

Tina Renae Goforth, 35, of Des Moines, died Saturday, April 11, 2015 from renal failure. She was born on October 27, 1979 to Billie Dale Goforth and Rebecca (Reha) Elbert in Des Moines, Iowa. Tina graduated from Ruby Van Meter School in 2001.
Tina brought joy into the lives of everyone that she met. She smiled often, loved to laugh, and gave the best hugs. Tina loved to go shopping, she loved sweets, and teasing her younger brother Chad. She will always be remembered for her beautiful blue eyes and her cheerful heart.
Tina is survived by her brother Chad (Christine Smith) Goforth; mother Rebecca Elbert; step-father Christopher Elbert; half-brother Brandon Goforth and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father Billie Dale Goforth; half-brother Billie Dale Goforth Jr.; paternal grandparents Marion and Ruby (Murphy) Goforth and maternal grandparents Leo and Shirley (Van Sickle) Reha.
The family would like to thank the staff at Mosaic in Clarion, Iowa and the staff of Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines, Iowa for the love and kindness that they have shown Tina.
Tina will be cremated and there will be no funeral service. Friends and family will gather at a later time to celebrate their memories of her life. Final interment will be at Laurel Hill cemetery in Des Moines.

Tina had a wonderful mother and grandmother....My brother loved her dearly ...I will never forget her beautiful hair....and smile...As I think of the pain her loving family must be feeling ...I close my eyes and softly remember all the wonderful time we spent together Tina...Billy Becky...when all of us so young...Tina brought such joy to her grandmother Shirley life...I can still see them together...Shirley so nurturing with Tina ...May God be with you all...Love Tina's aunt Linda....

Tina you were always very special to me, I loved to make you smile and I could always make you laugh. I'm sure you are a beautiful angel and loving being with grandma Shirley..we will meet again someday.Love and Miss you.
