Sally Ann Turner

Sally Ann Turner, 55, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 15, 2015.

Sally was born April 23, 1959 in Des Moines, Iowa to Leslie and Sally Ann (Macy) Turner. She is survived by her children, Jennifer (Mike) Pagano, Troy Deaton (Trisha Cocoma) and Matthew Schooley and her grandchildren, Alyssa Sikes, Kylie Breese, David Sikes and Troy Deaton Jr. She is also survived by her siblings, Leslie (Joy) Turner Jr., Patrick (Sharon) Turner, Stephanie Lake and Kevin Dellaca as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Turner and Sally Dellaca; step-father, Mareo Dellaca; son, David Sikes Jr.; and her siblings, Eileen Turner, Toni Morrow and Ronnie Dellaca.

Sally loved spending time at Grandview Little League. She was an amazing grandma and spoiled her grandkids every chance she got. She loved every member of her family unconditionally. Sally enjoyed being outdoors and spent time mushroom hunting, fishing and taking the grandkids camping. She was a vibrant and loving person. She was employed as the bakery manager at Walmart. She enjoyed her work as she loved to bake.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will take place Monday, April 20th at 11:00 a.m. with interment at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
