Marie Mabel Adams

Marie Adams, 92 passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015 in Carlisle.

Marie was born May 12, 1922 in Mason City, Iowa, to Lloyd and Mable (Mick) Boyles. She is survived by her husband, Frederick Adams; children, Donald (Linda) Adams, Frederick (Patricia) Adams, Jr., Gary (Mary) Adams, and Dennis (Coleen) Adams; 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Marge (Bill) Sander and Alice Hopkins and a host of other loving friends and family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and four brothers, Jim, Ray, Lew and Leon.

Marie enjoyed crocheting, doing crafts, but most of all spending time with her family. She was a homemaker and was a member of Easton Place United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will take place Wednesday, April 22 at 11:00 a.m., with interment at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
